A new door has opened in China to touch that nation with the love of God. On the initiative of Jining Kong, the grandson  of Mao Zedong,

Mission Statement

JINING KONG is a driving force in the China Mercy project. He is the grandson of Mao Zedong and has dedicated himself to aid the poor and needy in his country. He is one of the architects of the next generation of youths in China, working closely with CYDF (China Youth Development Foundation),

CYDF (China Youth Development Foundation) is the largest NGO (non-governmental) aid organization in China. CYDF is currently working to establish hospital clinics in poor areas across the country and has invited China Mercy to partner in this effort.

A new door in China

​​​​​​​SHIMON LIANG, a Chinese American, is the CYDF project director for China Mercy. He was born in Sichuan Province of China and now lives in the US with his American family. Because of his keen understanding of Chinese culture and extensive experience in international commerce and humanitarian work, as well as his close relationship with Jining Kong, he is a key member of the China Mercy team.

 

PELLE KARLSSON has worked extensively in ministry and missions for many decades, and is the president of the China Mercy organization. He and his wife Evie, a well-known Gospel singer who has worked with Bill Gaither, the Billy Graham organization and others, are the hosts of the China Mercy TV broadcasts.

About Us

CURT ZASTROW is the Midwest representative for China Mercy. He is the founder and director of The Children's Heritage Foundation, helping children to plug into potential and purpose. Children's Heritage Foundation has been a long-time partner of CYDF in helping to expand education and friendship.

the faith-based community in the West has been invited to help build health clinics in poor, rural areas.

     These basic medical facilities make a big difference to the people in rural villages where there would otherwise be little or no health care available.
